History

Taking its cue from its racing siblings, the Porsche 911 GT3 is a track rocket designed for the streets, with more than 500 horsepower, lightweight materials, refined aerodynamics and a motorsport-derived double-wishbone front axle, all bridging the gap between a diabolical racing 911 and the everyday 911 GT.

Under the bonnet of Porsche’s first GT 922 variant is a naturally aspirated 4.0-litre six-cylinder boxer engine. The Stuttgart-based manufacturer claims that this engine is virtually identical to the one fitted to the new 911 GT3 Cup race car, which is reserved for the racetrack. At 9,000 rpm, the 911 GT3 produces 502 horsepower and 346 lb-ft of torque, all of which is mated to a 7-speed PDK transmission.

Derived from the 911 RSR, the GT3 benefits from significantly improved steering and handling thanks to the RSR’s double wishbone front axle. As Porsche says, this addition “marks a major milestone in the history of the 911”.

Shown here with a GT Silver Metallic exterior and a beautiful black leather and alcantara interior. This 992 is brand new with 170 Km and many options.
