History
With only 300 units sold in the US, the 2008 Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet is a very exclusive open-top supercar across the Atlantic.
Porsche has made it a strong car, thanks to chassis reinforcements that increase rigidity to 9,000 Newton-metres. Yet the whole car weighs only 55 kg more than the hardtop Turbo, thanks to the extensive use of aluminium in the chassis and doors. Despite its breathtaking performance, the 911 Turbo Cabriolet is also one of the most enjoyable sports cars to drive on the road. It is the most exciting and sophisticated convertible in Porsche history.
It is finished in slate grey over natural black leather. The 3.6-litre twin-turbocharged flat-six sends power to all four wheels via a Tiptronic S automatic transmission, so you can take full advantage of the 480 horsepower and maximum torque of 620 nm. Factory options include the Sport Chrono Package, heated adaptive sport seats, thicker leather steering wheel and more.
